It is very usual for me to become quite reflective as we go from the old year to the new. It is important to me that each year I improve an area of my life, no matter how small that change should be.
As I look towards 2018 and back on 2017 I am amazed at how far God has brought me this year. At the start of 2017 I was struggling with working full time in a new and quite demanding job, my children and myself were still suffering from a little “shell shock’ from my marriage breakdown, in short I was a barely functioning mess who was quite adept at making sure my ‘mask’ was in place before going out in public.
